In 2017, Pentraco partnered with POWELTEC SA, a French company who is a pioneer in the development of Sand control technology through polymer utilization. The technology has been succesfully applied throughout Europe, Middle East, & Asia’s oil & gas wells, in which its successes have been recognized and published on SPE (Society of Petroleum Engineer) forum.

Poweltec’s polymer technology scope of work:
-    Polymer Sand control (Powergel & Microgel)
-    EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery)
-    Water shut off

Pentraco has successfully applied the Poweltec’s sand control technology to PHE ONWJ and PHE OSES (Formerly CNOOC) oil wells.
