Globally Recognized
With globally recognized brands as ASIATEC partners, we supply a wide range of electronic & electrical equipment to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries as well as system integrators, E&I contractors and the panel builders in this region. Some of these items include interconnection boards, relay cards, power supply units, surge arresters, cables, connectors, cable glands and more.
Loose sandstone and long-term water flooding oil wells will cause a large amount of sand production in oil wells. In order to prevent sand production, on the one hand, correctly choose cementing and completion methods according to oil layer and oil well conditions, then make reasonable production measures and control production pressure difference; On the other hand, according to the requirements of the oil layer and the production process, the corresponding sand control technology is adopted to ensure the normal production of the oil well.
The combination of both effects will result in a reduction of water and sand production. Laboratory studies were performed to optimize polymer formulation and evaluate flow properties in reservoir cores. Because of the low reservoir rock permeability (around 10-20 mD), high focus was put on polymer injectivity and RPM effects. Since 2013, nine offshore gas wells have been treated with polymers.
Treatments have shown positive results combining gas rate increase up to 100% and water reduction around 50% while stopping the sand. Details regarding well and polymer selection, job design, execution and production data are provided.
Reducing water productin from mature oil & gas fields represents a major challenge. Excessive water induces additional costs of lifting, separation, fluid treatments and disposal, as well as problems such as scales, corrosion, emulsion, bacteria development and sand production. Furthermore, water overtakes oil production in heterogeneous reservoirs. Water control becomes thus a major issue for the operators.
