Detect and Index All Defects
Since most defects require various lighting and detection methods, R.K.B. realized that single source sensing and lighting technologies would not work well and could not meet quality initiatives of a majority of web manufactures, especially in the coated material end of the industry.  Dual sensing with flexible lighting techniques first developed by R.K.B., provides the capabilities to detect and index all defects common in any web material manufacturing process.  Our HDBN9000-WIS is the result of tens of thousands of dollars of development, testing, online trial work.  As a result of this investment, our machine vision technologies have been designed to meet quality initiatives of any web based material manufacturer.

Using either 512/1024 format linear scan and patented streak scan technology, defect imaging capabilities are much clearer, accurate and consistent which are unachievable with single source line scan, laser, phototransistor and matrix/video based technologies alone.  This combination of both types of sensing technologies coupled with our proprietary and patented defect signal and noise reduction processing technologies provides unprecedented performance in a machine vision imaging web inspection system.

100% Inspection Coverage
Each machine vision imaging solution is designed to span the entire web width for 100% inspection of the web material. Now you can guarantee that your products are fully qualified prior to subsequent processing or shipment to customers. Our Quality Assurance Management System (QAMS) software is included with each system to provide complete defect data collection, analysis, reporting, setup, and diagnostic capabilities.  Also included with each machine vision solution is our multicolor spray marking technology for completely unattended operation of your production equipment.
